...Mitt took the POTUS? I mean Romney seems a pretty close replica of president Obama regarding political ideology. I would think who ever owns president Obama would surely own Mitt as well. I just can't see the liberals losing anything if Mitt replaces president Obama as POTUS. Anyone agree/disagree???

A Romney win would be a staggering blow to the Right in the sense that it would destroy their long held position that centrist/moderate Republicans can't win the presidency, and that's why McCain, for example, lost.

Political parties tend to do what worked for them in the last election, and if the GOP wins with a moderate, you can be assured that in the future they would be loath to nominate anyone other than a moderate.

Mitt would really suck as a military commander, I don't believe potential human lives lost would figure into any decision he would ever make.
