Dick Cheney: Obama Has Been 'Unmitigated Disaster To The Country'

Frankly I think it beneath the dignity of the office of a former Vice President of the United States to make comments on a sitting President or Vice President.......

I'll remember that the next time Carter or Obama pops off once the GOP gets the White House back.

UE is higher than when Obama took office 3 years ago. If the labor force participation rate were the same, the UE rate would be over 10%. Improvement has come chiefly from people dropping out of the labor market.
Inflation is heating up. The U.S. gov'ts debt is no longer triple-A. The country is more divided now than ever. Dodd-Frank is a disaster. Obamacare is a disaster and about to be tossed by the Supremes.
If Obama had played golf for the first two years instead of doing anything else we would be in better shape than we are today.

The Bush-Cheney 8-years was a disaster. They started 2-wars and cut taxes. Then as the economy was crashing they slithered out of DC and handed off a mess to a rookie and idealists. IMHO the economy is better now than it was 4-years ago. Remember Lehman? WAMU? AIG? Fannie? Freddie? Merrill-Lynch? GM? Citi? BofA? Remember losing 750,000 jobs a month?
If the dems win another 4-years it serves the GOP right, I'm not done rubbing their noses in it yet.

Hmm, Bush took over a recession and had it turned around in about 18 months.

That's what Porky Limbaugh said, huh??

Economists Call It Recession

"The world's largest economy sank into a recession in March, ending 10 years of growth that was the longest expansion on record in the United States, a group of economists that dates U.S. business cycles said Monday."

What's improved since 2006?

I'm sitting here gleefully awaiting an array of bullshit.

The economy is growing again. When Obama took office, we were losing 700,000 jobs a month. His stimulus packaged stopped that. But I think I'll stop there. In answer to your question, not much. But there has been some improvement.

there has?

gas prices sky high

food prices sky high

energy prices high and going higher

more people on welfare than ever before

the debt is 16 trillion dollars up by 5 trillion since the dummie took the wh
Insurance premiums are skyrocketing.
solyndra

fast and furious

12 million unemployed,

oh yeah.. tell us again how it's better

The Democrats are actually saying to us that if you want to be rich in this country you deserve to get screwed. They are essentially saying that the American Dream is a thing of the past. They are saying that sitting around waiting for help from the government is better than going out and working to assure a better future, and if you do you will be punished.
That's what Porky Limbaugh says, huh??

Hmm, Bush took over a recession and had it turned around in about 18 months. There was that 9/11 thing you may have heard about. How many attacks were made on the US prior to Bush? How many after Bush took action after 9/11?
We had a brief recession. That happens in the economic cycle. All the companies you mention are still around, except Lehman. Fannie/Freddie are unfortunately still around. The Democrats' failure to rein them in has cost taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars.
UE for most of Bush's presidency was 5% or less. How has Obama done there?

As to the wars, Obama has lost Iraq after Bush won it for him. He supported the Afghan war and he is losing that. He wasted thousands of lives in a surge modeled after Bush's, but against the advice of his own generals.
Egypt is going over to radical Islamic thugs.
Iran is building nuclear weapons and Obama wants to talk. North Korea is building long range missiles and Obama wants to talk.
He is a disaster in domestic affairs. He is a disaster in foreign affairs. He is the worst president ever.

Bush-Cheney was handed a Balanced Budget, an A+ economy, and there was even a "Surplus" and the Debt was on a "glide-path" to be ready for the Baby Boomers retirement. After 8-years of GOP tax cutting the economy crashed. Bush handed off an "F-" economy and a massive deficit. The GOP turned an A+ economy and Budget surplus into a disaster.
As to the "wars" who was driving the bus when they were told that Al-Qaeda was planning attacks on the US, and that several were learning to fly jet liners but did not want to know how to land?? If you read the 9/11 Commission report the "system was blinking red" and they did nothing preemptive. Obama is doing a better job than Bush-Cheney.

there was no balanced budget. At least you put it in quotes.
Bush inherited a recession.
If tax cuts were so disasterous why did Obama sign the bill for their extension when they were passed by a filibuster-proof Dem Congress?
The answer to your last question is Bill Clinton. Any more stupid questions?

CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- Former Vice President Dick Cheney walked onstage without any assistance and spoke for an hour and 15 minutes without seeming to tire in his first public engagement since he underwent a heart transplant three weeks ago.

He sat in a plush chair throughout the long chat with daughter Liz Cheney and looked decidedly healthier than recent appearances where he has been gaunt and used a cane.

Cheney even threw in a couple of political plugs amid much reminiscing at the Wyoming Republican Party state convention in Cheyenne on Saturday.

He said the presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney is going to do a "whale of a job." He said it's never been more important than now to defeat a sitting president and the Republican Party should unite behind Romney.

"He has been an unmitigated disaster to the country," Cheney said of President Barack Obama.

Okay, the idiot who gave him a new heart should be shot. In the face. On a hunting trip.

Cheney speaks and the left wing goes crazy. Funny stuff.

The unnecessary Iraq death toll means nothing?

Congress approved the Iraq war. If we are to place blame there is plenty to go around. Besides that history will judge the justification of the war and it will do it without an emotional attachment.

As they did action in Afghanistan. (Albiet on the left? Afghanistan WAS the 'perferred war'.

and if anybody understands disaster it's Dick!

Wow given the post here one would almost think Cheney was running for office I did not think this possible but Cheney Derangement Syndrome might be worse than either Palin Derangement Syndrome or Bush Derangement Syndrome.

Cheney pushed for the war, as did Bush. Bush's explanation was "bad intel"; that does not bring back the dead, or heal the maimed.
