Exclusive: Liz Cheney, January 6 Committee Suppressed Exonerating Evidence Of Trump’s Push For National Guard

Uh, they need an official request, usually from the Governor, but since there's no Governor of DC the mayor.

That is how it works. The dolt Democrat mayor refused.
This is a memo written by the Staff Judge Advocate for MG Walker who was the DCNG commander. The DCNG was ready to go and the Pentagon ordered them to stand down.

Should Trump win the Election, I suggest he request National Guard Reinforcements in addition to regular law enforcement for the Inauguration. At a minimum, keep the ANTIFA-led rioters from smashing windows and lighting trash cans and limousines on fire.

No, they didn't.
He didn't.
Why do we keep recycling this lie? :)

Let it go.
Ornato is a Trump toady.
No. He didn't. His own advisors said he didn't.
Just stop. :) You're embarrassing yourself.
The Federalist is no better than the gatewaypundit.

The Onion is more credible.
Fake news.

Hell. . . even left-wing media that followed Miller around, and was right there, heard Trump authorize them. . . .

. . . .When yoar own side admits it, that is some serious denial and gas-lighting. GTFO.

". . . On the evening of January 5—the night before a white supremacist mob stormed Capitol Hill in a siege that would leave five dead—the acting secretary of defense, Christopher Miller, was at the White House with his chief of staff, Kash Patel. They were meeting with President Trump on “an Iran issue,” Miller told me. But then the conversation switched gears. The president, Miller recalled, asked how many troops the Pentagon planned to turn out the following day. “We’re like, ‘We’re going to provide any National Guard support that the District requests,’” Miller responded. “And [Trump] goes, ‘You’re going to need 10,000 people.’ No, I’m not talking bullshit. He said that. And we’re like, ‘Maybe. But you know, someone’s going to have to ask for it.’” At that point Miller remembered the president telling him, “‘You do what you need to do. You do what you need to do.’ He said, ‘You’re going to need 10,000.’ That’s what he said. Swear to God.”

. . . been saying, over and over, unless they can prove the Trump told his people to act like bumbling idiots. . . all the proof shows, he ordered well ahead of time, all the security in the world.

Nothing but chaos and disarray. Either the public is being played, or he is.

Trump was the commander in cheif.

He didn't need to "push" for anything. He could have just issued an order, "National Guard, people protect the Capitol from all these inbred morons I've spent the last year riling up."

No worries, after Biden wins, and Trump tries this shit again, you'll see how it's done right.

Not true.
Gheez!
We've all been over this before. You MAGAt's keep recycling the same, already debunked lies.

This authority to activate the D.C. National Guard has been delegated, by the President, to the Secretary of Defense and further delegated to the Secretary of the Army. The D.C. National Guard is the only National Guard unit, out of all of the 54 states and territories, which reports only to the President

Ooooo. "Swear to God". :auiqs.jpg:
That makes all the difference. :)

Take your own advice and sell your bullshit somewhere else.
He did not order the troops. Drop it.

He would have Hell to pay if he did what you said because the House Speaker is in sole charge of the Capitol's real estate. Trump did the right thing. The House Speaker hates Trump and guess which hippocrit refused the offer. You got it if you knew she refused the offer Trump offered to protect Congress. This whole disaster rests on Pelosi's cantankerous hatred for the right, and twice as much on good guy Trump.

NO he couldn’t. The president isn’t in the chain of command for the NG until and if they are federalized.
