Ron DeSantis wishes he could have a do-over with the media.

In an interview Thursday with radio host Hugh Hewitt, the Florida governor expressed regret over how his presidential campaign had initially shunned most news outlets in favor of friendly, conservative platforms.

His admission was an unusual moment of self-reflection for the governor, who frequently derides the mainstream media as biased against him. But DeSantis is struggling to keep his presidential campaign alive after placing second in Iowa, roughly 30 points behind former President Donald Trump. He’s set to reach only single digits in New Hampshire, should the polls bear out, and is focusing his strategy on trying to make inroads in South Carolina, even though most polls show him trailing Trump and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.

At the start of his presidential campaign, DeSantis reserved his one-on-one interviews for conservative outlets but then changed his strategy over the summer as he fell far behind Trump in the polls and as he was forced to cut campaign staff due to overspending. Last week, DeSantis turned on conservative outlets — especially Fox News — accusing the network of being insufficiently critical of Trump to please their audiences. He has lamented for months that it has been hard for him to break through given the saturated coverage around Trump’s many court hearings.

Now, he finally figures it all out. LOL. Poor Conservatives. They live their life scared that the media will ask them tough questions.

Questions like - "What do you read" or "What was the cause of the Civil War"? Something a third grader would hit out of the park but for a Republican it's so so hard.

The fact that he needs to say this confirms he had bad advisers. He should have been wise enough to overrule them, no?

Of course you accept all media opportunities, especially if you are chasing the leader. To not do so, confirms you don't even trust your own policies.

DeSantis figured that his strategy of maligning the press in Florida would work on the campaign. :oops8:

Welcome to real world, Ron.

He's a world class moron! He's also an evil bastard.

Because Soros, the anti American scumbag like you, controls the media, dumbshit
Actually, he doesn't. But, even if he does, what has that to do with DeSantis regretting not going on the media circuit? Did Soros stop him from going on media?

Do you think before you post? And you wonder why we laugh at retards like you. :itsok:

All the tough questions Joe was asked. Joe could not even answer the simple questions and the talk show hosts finished the lines for him. I am saying to you. Your party is the promoter of socialism. Unfortunately, the ones doing it are not in the hovel with the peasants. They are elites to the max. They are not even revolutionaries in the sense they will fight with the peasants in the hovel. At least Castro, Stalin, Che and Mao did. It is going to suck when we are eating insects and leaves while they are eating top shelf meats, seafood, vegetables, dairy products, all bakery products, even junk food and everything else in which we will be denied. Imagine 350-pound Stacey Abrams eating all of the goodies and the people who defend these power-hungry monsters eating the insects and tree leaves with vitamins in them. There are always people who give up a good thing for some shyster. And the shyster convinces them that the other one who wants the nation to America First is not the good guy.

This is a lie, of course.

That news reporting agencies accurately and truthfully document DeSantis’ bigotry and hate directed at gay and transgender Americans, his racist war on ‘woke,’ his contempt for the First Amendment, and the fact that DeSantis is a big government authoritarian doesn’t mean news agencies are ‘biased.’

His hate against the evils of LGBTQ and tranny extremism is what made him likable in the first place.

I never understood why Donald Trump attacked the guy when he was doing all those great things for Flordia.

But Ronnie showed his true colors, and Trump was right (again) all along. DeSantis has proven to be an Establishment stooge.

We were told by Extreme Biden Cult Fucks that DeSantis is more dangerous than Trump, because Trump is stupid and DeSantis is smart.

Please explain to me how DeSantis ran a smart campaign.

DeSantis is like the Playground Bully who picks on homosexuals while all his friends laugh

No one cares about your dumb comparisons. The people of Florida passed laws against pedos and groomers. Whiny faggots can cry all they want.
