Der Fuhrer Obama considers unilaterally patrolling the internet

Upfront note: This is not a 'flame thread.' This thread discusses a specific current political issue. Deal with it.

Apparently after an internet 'security' measure was not passed in the Senate, Der Fuhrer Obama is considering an 'executive order' that requires businesses and individuals to submit to his supreme will.

After defeat of Senate cybersecurity bill, Obama weighs executive-order option - The Hill's Hillicon Valley

So why didn't Republicans work with him and Democrats to pass a bill that makes sense? Did the Republicans give him any options, since his primary responsibility is to protect America?

Photoshop is your friend.
Truth is irrelevant.

Uh huh__ Nice that you're worried more about that than the issue at hand :clap2:

I am always concerned with distortion of truth.
That distortion does not only take written or spoken form.
Visual distortion usually has more impact on people than the other 2 forms I mentioned.

And that is why the right likes it so much.

I am not saying the left does not do it as well, but they are light years behind the right.

So what does Chavez call Obama?

“In the end, it’s the same project,” Chavez said, referring to Obama as “a good guy.”

Lordy like the heavens above, looks like Bolshevik love....

Yep... his endorsements are stellar :clap2:

I know Obama is having a tough time being president and that's probably because he's a Muslim Nazi, Commie and Socialist! Whew, that's a lot of things to be and all at one time!!!!!:lol::lol::lol::lol:

But he is apparently all powerful since he caused the Great Recession all by himself.

Wow, spoiled brat, I do think we finally have double reverse jumped the shark LOLOLOL

the dictionary definition of the american dream, doing it on your own, i.e. Obama, then the very definition of spoiled bratness, Rmoney, yet you morans seem to have it backwards

wow

it is posts like the one above me that proves the tea party, the right, is purely about racism, plain and simple...

damnit, each time i try to get out, you racist slime pull me back in
Only a truly liberal idiot would draw racism from my criticism of the boy king. His Marxism is quite evident to many learned people that actually understand what Marxism means. My criticism of the Marxist has nothing to do with race.

Go back to school...learn something this time!

Are You Being Monitored At Work?
29 Aug.`12 - A 2011 survey found that over half of US employers are monitoring their employees' computer usage. How can you find out if you are one of them? And if you are, what should you do about it?
There are two main ways employers track computer usage — with monitoring software on your desktop, and by watching the traffic on the corporate network. Also, many companies have written guidelines about Internet usage and may indicate if they are monitoring you. HR departments should have these policies available for employee review.

Monitoring Software on Your Computer

Monitoring software tracks all your activity and sends logs to the boss or IT department. Without your knowledge, they may be receiving reports listing the websites you visit, time spent in specific software programs, or even how much you play solitaire. The programs that do this are myriad, but there are often signs that they're running.

On a Windows machine:

First, look in the system tray and start up folder. Do you see programs with names like VNC or LogMeIn, GoToMyPC, Shadow, SpyAgent, Web Sleuth and Silent Watch. An IT person can choose to hide these programs from the user so they are not in the Start Menu, but many assume the user won't look for them or know what these programs are.
The Windows taskbar often lists all the actively running programs. Check all the icons in the taskbar in the bottom right hand corner of the screen and make sure you know what each program is.
The Windows Firewall must give monitoring programs permission to send and receive information. Search 'firewall', open it, click 'exceptions' or 'add program'. Then look to see if any of the above-mentioned programs or any programs that are unknown to you have permission to pass through the ports.

On a Mac:

The White House hasn't ruled out issuing an executive order to strengthen the nation's defenses against cyberattacks if Congress refuses to act.

I'm confused. Because they have not ruled it out, means they are considering it?

Obama has not ruled out becoming a mixed martial arts fighter and challenging the current champ, so that must mean he's considering it... right?

please, I have many real reasons to be anti-Obama. I don't need made up ones.

I monitor everyone.

A few points, first: I make new employees sign an agreement acknowledging that I can and will monitor their usage, prior to adding them to the domain.

Secondly, if you think that VNC or other remote control software is the means of monitoring usage, you have a rude awakening coming. I know every packet sent, where it came from and where it goes - at this second another monitor has a dashboard showing activity on it. (You didn't REALLY think I sit on USMB doing nothing all day, did you?) I know the internal and external connections you make (my own users, that is) I know if they attempt to reach blocked content. I can snoop processes running and attempts to alter the registry of the machine.

It is my job to do this. The computer is part of the company, not your personal plaything.
