Christians near Bethlehem

Oh Puuuulleaseeee, the BBC are so far up Israel's arse they tickle tonsils, the slightest coverage and Mark Regev is there on our screens, no such opportunity for any Palestinian "spokesperson". Mark Chapman, previous Director General, even flew to Israel to reassure Netanyahu of favourable coverage in a shameful display of bias. They even, for the very first time, refused to broadcast a Disaster Emergency Appeal (where all charities work together ) for Castlead victims in case it offended Israel even though the appeal was apolitical and would have included aid for the sole Sderot victim. This led to many, including myself, to send their £147 licencee fee to the appeal. The atrocious Panorama "Death on the Med" edition was blatant pro Israel propoganda.

Criticism of the BBC - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In March 2006 a report about the Arab-Israeli conflict on the BBC's online service was criticised in a BBC Governors Report as unbalanced and creating a biased impression. The article's account of a 1967 United Nations resolution about the six-day war between Israel and a coalition of Egypt, Jordan and Syria suggested the UN called for Israel's unilateral withdrawal from territories seized during the six-day war, when in fact, it called for a negotiated "land for peace" settlement between Israel and "every state in the area". The committee considered that by selecting only references to Israel, the article had breached editorial standards on both accuracy and impartiality

On 7 March 2008, news anchor Geeta Guru-Murthy clarified significant errors in the BBC's coverage of the Mercaz HaRav massacre that had been exposed by media monitor Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America. Correspondent Nick Miles had informed viewers that "hours after the attack, Israeli bulldozers destroyed his [the perpetrator's] family home." This was not the case and other broadcasters showed the east Jerusalem home to be intact and the family commemorating their son's actions

On 14 March 2008, the BBC accepted that in an article on their website of an IDF operation that stated "The Israeli air force said it was targeting a rocket firing team... UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has condemned Israel's attacks on Palestinian civilians, calling them inappropriate and disproportionate", they should have made reference to what [Ban] said about Palestinian rocket attacks as well as to the excessive use of force by Israel. The article was additionally amended to remove the reference of Israeli 'attacks on civilians' as Ban Ki-Moon's attributed comments were made weeks earlier to the UN Security Council, and not in reference to that particular attack, and in fact, he had never used such terminology

But you use Palestinian/Arab sources. So what's your point?

Indeed, and the source is criticized while not refuting the content.

So what agenda could Israel have in reporting attacks on Christians by arab muslims. We all know that the muslims agenda is to cause the eventual genocide of the Jews and the destruction of Israel so they LIE to achieve this end

Israel has always tried to drive a wedge between Palestinian Christians and Muslims.

Christians and Muslims on the same side being attacked by the Jews does not match the popular propaganda. It is the Muslims who are supposed to be attacking Christians and Jews.

Last 40+ yrs, BBC has been highly pro arab in all their broadcasts on the radio overseas.
Used to listen to it most of the time. When young, I would wonder why Israel was so vilified. Reports might have accurate, to a point, but they were very much from a pro arab perceptive. Opinions were twisting the facts to justify their point of view.

US and British soldiers refused to listen to BBC because of the lies they promoted during the war.

Christians stabbed, stoned by Muslims near Bethlehem
wnd.com/2014/05/christians-stabbed-stoned-by-muslims-near-bethlehem/

By Israel Today

The Feast of Saint George, a pretty important holiday for Palestinian Christians, recently ended, but it didn’t end well for those celebrating at the festival’s focal point, the Monastery of Saint George near Bethlehem.

Saint George’s Monastery is located in the village of al-Khadar, which is the name used for Saint George in Arab culture. Every year, Palestinian Christians, and even some Muslims, gather at the monastery, as well as at other locations throughout the region, to commemorate George’s martyrdom and dedication to his faith.

During this year’s festival, which occurred on May 6, the Christians gathered at Saint George’s were beset by Muslim provocateurs and assailants.

Lela Gilbert, author of Saturday People, Sunday People, Israel through the Eyes of a Christian Sojourner, provided an initial report to CAMERA.

“Some local Muslims either tried to park a car too close the church and/or tried to enter the church during a service honoring St. George – the initial instigation isn’t clear. But when the intruders were asked to leave, one of them stabbed a Christian man who was outside the church serving as a guard. He was hospitalized. Several then started throwing stones at the church. 7 or 8 Christians were injured and some physical damage was done – broken windows etc. The police didn’t show up for an hour.”

One of the victims managed to record a portion of the attack on his cellphone and uploaded the footage to YouTube, where it has since been seen by over 20,000 people. And still, media coverage of the attack has been sorely lacking. Perhaps everyone is too busy furiously criticizing Israel over a few youth scrawling graffiti.

The Christians in the video, including crying children, can be seen cowering in fear as they are besieged by Muslim hooligans whom the authorities did very little, if anything, to stop.

This is from the same Bethlehem where Christ at the Checkpoint organizers say Christians and Muslims live in harmony; this is from the same “Palestine” the international community labels as “moderate” in its justification for establishing yet another Arab state; and this is happening, right next door, as everyone ignores realities and accuses Israel of abusing minorities, of being an “apartheid state.”

All of these sources are Israeli.

It seems that any time it is reported that Muslims are attacking Christians, the source is Israel.

Just an observation.

It seems that at any time it is reported that Muslims are attacking Christians, those with the Pro Palestinian Mentality either deny it or ignore it Just an observation :cuckoo:

So were is the link from a reputable non islamonazi source that shows this, or is it only stated on islamonazi propagandist sites

You have nothing to say about how Jews treat Muslims and Christians, even children 2 of which they recently shot in the back, which is so typical of a bigoted Pro Israel anti Gentile Mentality.

Here is what I have to say:

The U.S. State Department's International Religious Freedom Report for 2012 shows persecution against Christians and Jews is on the rise today, especially in Muslim countries.

Egypt, Nigeria, Sudan, Iran, Libya, Tunisia are among the many countries where non-Muslims are suffering persecution.

Saudi Arabia prohibits any religion except Islam and enforces state restrictions on religious freedom.
