Reports of retail election fraud - as opposed to wholesaleelection fraud - are virtually always the style of Republicans; retail in this case meaning the cases of individuals operating for their own gain, as in voting in two polling places or perhaps two states like New York and again in a "winter" home state of say Florida as an example.
By the same paradigm wholesale fraud is systemic fraud to change or inject many votes wholesale into the system to attempt to force an outcome favorable to the fraudsters purposes.
I.E. if there is wholesale fraud then there is retail fraud just as there are retail politics - one on one - and there is wholesale politics as in mass communications or ballot stuffing.
What happened in 2008 in Indiana's primary is a good example of wholesale fraud when both Obama's and Clinton's campaign supporters didn't bother with getting the required minimum of 500 names of supporters in each congressional district but instead simply wrote down the names and forged the the signatures of a large proportion of well known Democrats to meet the requirement without which they would've failed.
Among those names was former Indiana Governor Joe Kernan (among others) who stated to the media and in court that his name had been used without his permission and his signature had even been forged. It was shown that neither OB nor HRC had met the law's requirement but the damage was done and their votes in the subsequent primary election were allowed to stand as legitimate because the discovery and court case came too late. That is an example of wholesale fraud.
A candidate lying about his address or his qualifications is still retail fraud, and much easier to discover and remedy, at least in my opinion.
