Axelrod: “There’s this reign of terror going on in the Republican Party”

All this finger pointing by both sides is the result of what is wrong with Washington.
The American people by a huge percent want Democrats and Republicans to put country over party politics and start actually work for the good of the people and start compromising. This country will not move forward until people grow the fuck up and do their job of representing real people.
Why does Congress have record low approval? Do the majority of people just blame one party for all the gridlock? No.
I hope that the people who vote stick to their guns and express their anger with Washington by voting out every single incumbent. Maybe then, Washington would finally get a clue. Our government is supposed to be by the people and for the people (not by the party/special and for the special interest/party. It's right there in the Constitution of the United States.

Voters sent Republicans to Washington in 2010 because the economy wasn't improving fast enough and the GOP promised "Jobs. Jobs. Jobs." Instead, the GOP has voted against women and against Health Care Reform. 33 times against Health Care reform, to be precise. They have never voted in favour of any jobs program in the year and a half they have been in office.

Prior to that, the GOP set an all-time record for filibusters and threats of filibusters.

High ranking GOP officials are on record saying that their number one goal is to have a GOP President after this next election.

Calling them obstructionists is being nice.

You are an idiot!

The Republican lead Congress has passed 27 jobs bills and the Democratic controlled Senate has tabled everyone of them.

Stop with the huffington post, media matters and DNC talking points and think for yourself.

Fact is you numbnutted puke, every political party wants "their " guy to win the presidency.

You got any proof of other high ranking GOP saying that, other then Mich McConnell ?

Of course he doesn't.

I disagree. Do you remember when Obama said the health bill would be bipartisan? Do you remember when republicans were locked out of meetings? Do you remember when republicans tried to add their ideas to the bill and were told no and the dems had to bribe fellow dems to get them to pass the health care bill?

There is one party working against the American people and that is why that party was soundly defeated in 2010.

27 job bills ... and none of you can name any? You can't name one and show how it would help the economy?

What Axelrod said isn't anything new. Fact is, the pubs don't do anything expect work against the president and lie to American citizens.

I heard on the news yesterday that the 33 token votes against Affordable Health Care Act cost us taxpayers $50MILLION DOLLARS. Chump change to the pubs and we're the chumps.

They ran on jobs but have yet to produce even one job because they're so busy voting against their own countrymen. Boehner is worse than useless. He does nothing but play golf and drink but he's right there when the cameras are on and he never misses a chance to shed a crocodile tear on camera.

Only fools would believe that would change with R prez. They work for big business and want a feudal system where the workers support the wealthiest. That's a fact that even rw's cannot deny. Why would that change?

Prove it.

You made the claim, you must prove it, otherwise it's all lies.

You want me to prove something didn't happen?

That's not how life works. If you think the GOP passed jobs bills, then the onus is one you to prove it.

JOBS Act passes Congress, heads to Obama

The ‘Forgotten 15′ GOP Jobs Bills

And from the Huffington Post:

JOBS Act: Small Business Bill Passes In Congress

I expect an apology when you are proven wrong.

And yet, the rw's call libs "partisan hacks".

From McConnell or a voter, this is just horrendous. This crazy "anybody but Obama" attitude is just beyond stupid and indicates a complete lack of caring about our country.

For McConnell, its sort of understandable. He's in it to get more money for the wealthy. But voters who don't care who they vote for - They're the ones that don't deserve the RIGHT to vote.

Yeah, what a great America loving attitude! Again it's party over country. I'm not voting for Obama, but at least like most Americans I gave the guy a chance. McConnell clearly put party over country before Obama even took office.
Does any one have a clue where America would be today if Republicans and Democrats acted like they actually cared more about there country than their worthless parties?
I would care to bet that America would be standing economically more secure.
In times of crisis politcs should get thrown out the window just like it did after 9/11 and every other crisis this country has faced.

Now why would you go and throw facts in the face of DBS's fantasy?

Obama ate dog and blamed ATM.

Are you stupid?

He really did!

How about blaming the gas crisis on not enough air in your tires. Or telling the man with a large family to buy a hybrid van when there are no hybrid vans!

We don't forget.

The dems trusted the Bush admin when they lied about WMDs in Iraq.

they placed country over party.

look how they have been repaid for that

Democrats get presidency and super majority in congress in 2008.

Democrats get to do whatever they want, whenever they want.

Country doesn't get better: instead worse.

Voters give house and a few more senate seats back to republicans as a way of trying to stop it.

Democrats: "how are we supposed to 'get anything done now?'"

...

So... it's the republicans that won't work with the democrats. Oh, ok.
