because some dont seem to understand exactly what can make someone a partisan

Good point...maybe it was the wrong word to use.

Essentially, I would consider blindly partisan people to be teapartysamurai, sinatra, KMAN, KWO, rdean, truthmatters, etc.

And then people fall in line from there.

i've seen some of TPS's posts and i would agree they are partisan to the tea party movement
sinatra is also partisan towards conservative ideals
KMAN as well
i think KWO, TM, and rdean are HYPER-partisans that pretty much think everything wrong is the fault of either conservatives or republicans(which they all seem to think are the same thing) and they totally ignore the democrats other than to praise them


i am also very partisan to what i believe and that has had me at odds with all points of the political spectrum

It seems I've been a part of a lot of these conversations recently. I personally define "partisanship" as blind allegiance to party, so in terms of my post, I'm treating as such.

I hold no allegiance to a political party. I am unashamedly "liberal" on many issues, and "conservative" on others.

Mostly I think labels are dumb as shit. I believe in the right to free speech - which includes telling people to shut the fuck up. I believe in the right to believe in whatever god you choose - which includes my right to be free from religion. I believe in the right to own guns - but not RPGs and M2s. I believe in the right to fuck whoever you want.

I believe that all politicians are corrupt. I believe that the system we have now barely works, but both unregulated free market capitalism and socialism DO NOT work. Because of this, I am pro-status quo.

If being Partisan is as you say being blindly loyal to one party. Then I am sure as shit Not partisan.

I voted for Clinton twice and Bush Twice. I voted for my current Democrat governor the first time, and her Republican Opponent the second time.

I am blindly loyal to my conservative ideals and constitutional Government. Like I said I do not care what letter they have before their name I will vote for the one I think will lead us toward those Ideals the most.

I didn't see any specific party mentioned in the poll or the OP. I would agree the question was open to interpretation, but not too many rational people on any "side" are blindly loyal to any one party or ideology. I'm sure not. If I were to give myself a label it would be about two lines long. But it's interesting to see how people view themselves when given a choice. Don't worry, we know where you stand without your vote.
