Not just that, but Putin would have had no need in invading Ukraine because he would have just went to the negotiating table about Ukraine I feel. Once he saw that negotiating with those who had gained power was now in play, and he saw the type of people Biden and them were, he probably figured that war was his only option left in Ukraine, and that's because negotiating with Biden wasn't going to happen.

Trump administration officials have made clear in recent days that they expect European allies in NATO to take primary responsibility for their own defense as the U.S. now had other priorities, such as border security and countering China.

Well, he's right on this one. Europe should form their very own NATO that the US is not part of. It's their defense, not ours. But, we'd be glad to sell them the things they need.
