Why are those certain foods labeled soul food in the first place? I understand it being labeled Italian food if it originated in Italy, and Chinese food if it originated from China, etc., but why are certain foods labeled soul food? To me, at the end of the day, food is food as long as it tastes good. If it's bad, then it's nothing more than crap.

P.S. Sometimes before a place closes may be the only time that people can get to those places. Sometimes before the bank closes is the only time that I can go to one when I need to go to one due to my work schedules.

True. I worked in a store that had no black customers, but we had a huge shoplifting problem. What we had was a lot of university students. Their favorite target was cigarettes by the carton.

P.S. You are right about one thing. There are most definitely people who make excuses, no matter what their race is, but there are also things called explanations and the last time that I checked, asking questions and taking an interest at all period are still legal moves to make.

I've never denied any accomplishments made by people who are not Caucasians. If anything, I appreciate a good deal of what comes from those who are not. I believe that it was African American people who created bluegrass and country music instruments. In my opinion, those instruments are not out there enough anymore.
