We just relaxed tariffs on importation of Argentinian beef because the lack of U.S. supply relative to demand was hiking prices. Now we are going to export the beef we were told we didn't have to China?

Make it make sense.

The cattle herd is the lowest it’s been since the 1950’s. Ranchers are being hit v with increased costs for feed because of tariffs.

Prices have soared as supply decreased and now we’re going to ship beef to China which will increase costs for US consumers again.

I can’t stand all the winning.

Doesn't take much critical thinking to see a potential positive to this. The US beef industry sells its expensive beef to China while the US sources its beef from more affordable providers in Argentina and Brazil. Hmmm, it will be interesting to see how this shakes out.
