Every winter we hear the same thing "worst flu season". Is it true? The breathless media stories never quote real statistics, they just give us an anecdotal case and a horror story or two. How do they know? Most people stay home and quietly suffer for a couple of days. Do people actually report to the hospital emergency room for a cold?
