College is like everything else in life, it is what you make of it. Learning and education should be a life long pursuit. Education and learning is gained through many sources, formal education being one. Formal education should teach you how to continue to learn and where to go for knowledge and learning.
College education helps many but not all. Many very smart people do not have a college degree and many stupid people have a college degree.
You appear to be intimidated by college education. Anyone who paints everyone who has a college degree with the same brush is not very intelligent. They are in need of learning and knowledge from any source.
