Zone1 Why is the US the best country in the world?

The USofA's construct elevated our quality of life in under 200 years what other nations could not achieve in 2000 .........some of y'all might remember what that is.... ;)~S~
Next you'll tell us Edison invented the incandescent light bulb.

Yet, we are still the nation that everyone turns to when they have a problem.
It's almost as though the US isn't the only nation to have invoked article 5 of NATO and squealed for allies to help it in its wars.

In the Clean Debate Zone because I don't want a flame fest. Genuinely interested in why Americans constantly feel the need to tell the rest of the world how much better it is than the rest of the world. In case you haven't guessed, I don't think it is. Biggest military, sure? Richest (well debatable - have you seen your debt recently?). Being best has doesn't mean you have the biggest military. Who cares? Same with wealth. If 1 per cent have 80 per cent of it, it means nothing.
If you actually wanted a clean debate, you would not have started off with nothing but finger pointing.

When you say the health care system is “pretty good”, that is a relative term. You can look on their own website to see how long the estimates are before you begin treatment for different issues. You believe that there are millions of Americans who are on waiting lists and do not have immediate access to medical care, the key in that is where you said, “you believe”. You believe, you do not know.
Well tell me then. Are there waiting lists for Americans with no health care because they cannot afford it? You do realise that in Australia it is a similar situation to the UK. My ex-wife had to have an operation on her ankle. She had a choice of paying for it and getting it done straight away, or going on a waiting list (she didn't have health insurance at the time). She decided to go on a waiting list because it was non urgent. She waited six months. You do realise that in Australia and the UK, if it is an emergency - ie a heart attack - they treat you immediately and it costs you nothing. You do know that?

In your opinion, it does our country a disservice. Here’s something to consider, you actually know who the leader of our country is. You listen to our president speak. I couldn’t tell you who is in charge of your country, nor what their positions are on anything. Neither could most people in the world outside of your country. That is because your country’s sphere of influence is almost zero, whereas the United States? Everyone listens.
Meh, we listen and laugh. The US has very little effect on us. We hardly felt the GFC due to the minerals in our ground. Albanese is our PM. You're right, he doesn't do much. Neither does Trump. We know who he is because he has a big mouth and the US is a big country. What made your country great had nothing to do with you. The last great generation of Americans fought in WWII. Those that came after aren't much to rave about, they just live on the shoulders of giants. "We saved your ass in WWII," they say. No you didn't. Your ancestors did. You had nothing to do with it. I'll also add the Battle of Britain was over by the time the US decided to join the war. The RAF ruled the skies, and then Hitler made the huge mistake of invading the USSR. Of course the US helped - but they didn't do it alone.

You have the best chance to be success in America than any other country. If your not thats on you. If you lived in Europe or Scandinavia the government traps you in the class you are born into and gives you just enough to remain status quo. Only old money gets rich
Total utter crap. There are a tonne of billionaires and millionaires in all Western countries. In the US if you fail, you fail big. Nobody to help you. You wear it like a badge of honour. You forget for every success there are 10 times as many failures. And it's not on anybody. It is market conditions. You make it sound like everybody in the US could be a millionaire. How unrealistic can you get? You're just selling a Hollywood fantasy.

Single-payer like the UK’s NHS promises “free” care for all, but it quietly creates a two-tier system. The rich (and growing numbers of middle-class folks) pay for private insurance or cash to skip the endless NHS waits—getting surgeries, scans, and specialists in days or weeks instead of 12–18+ months.

Everyone else? Stuck in the public queue with rationing by delay, canceled appointments, and basic care that often feels second-rate for non-emergencies. Emergencies are handled well across the board, but for planned stuff, money buys speed and choice. Single-payer doesn’t erase inequality—it just turns it into who can afford to jump the line.
Again, are you telling me there are no waiting lists for the 27 million-plus Americans that have no health insurance? So there is no 'two-tier' system in the US?

No, they just suppressed news stories that would have cost Biden the election.

And you sound more and more like a nasty, deranged leftist with every post.
Links please.
Ha! I'm actually laughing at you. Count yourself lucky, I rarely engage with Deplorables with the IQ of an amoeba. But you amuse me.

You believe anyone is better than the USA, right now. Yet, we are still the nation that everyone turns to when they have a problem. We are the nation with which everyone wants to trade. No one looks to Germany or Japan when they are worried about another nation might attack them.
The US is Australia's fifth largest trading partner. Our biggest are China, Japan, the EU and other ASEAN countries.

Just giving examples. If you can't handle it, you don't have to be here. After all, that is the point of the OP. It's like saying I hate lemons, and then explaining why, and then you popping up and saying "why do you hate lemons?" Well, duh, it is the point of the thread.

It is people like you who helped to make our nation one in decline. For decades a growing amount of people in power are crazy or/are empowered due to pressures form the elites. Countless police/fire departments have lesbians in charge of them as an example. It must be so fun for the men who have took the slings and arrows in their careers put into second place as they stand behind that.
It's almost as though witches don't burn.

Ffs.

15th post
Or what about Biden? Did you call him a dictator when he forced the working class to pay off the loans of college grads, again without Congress?
You mean the top half of income earners had to pay to help others up the ladder?

I'm sure you pulled it up after you as quickly as you could.

Conservatives care about POLICIES. Leftists like you care about personalities. Besides, we NEED a tough personality to combat the Left.
MAGAt self awareness at its best.
