Not sure. It may have to do with the requirements of socialism on an Institutional basis. Persons on unemployment would have most likely enrolled in UC when exiting the workforce for whatever reason and potentially still have a decent credit score.If they will not enter a treatment program that is free, why do you think they would enter if they got a welfare check?

Equal protection of the laws is a Constitutionally guaranteed Entitlement under our Constitutional form of Government.

Recourse to an income would have potentially help them keep those ethics.I doubt their Credit Score effects what a homeless drunk or crack addict thinks about. Many of them had jobs before their addictions took them to the dark places.

They were more productive because they worked. So we should get them into rehab or a mental health facility, get them back on n even keel and get them back to work.
