I don't know why it's called a War Powers Resolution since it has no real "power". President Trump needs to quit trying to negotiate with who knows who. Iran has ZERO credibility, agreements mean NOTHING to them, it's all about buying time and rebuilding their drone and missile stockpiles.

FWIW, this "resolution" still has to go on to the Senate. Then, even if it passes there, it has to go to Trump to sign.

Trump will veto the resolution.

That said, I gave Trump till end of May to wrap this up and now we are into June. There needs to be some motion here even if I understand Iran is really in a tight bind.

One week into this war, we were told we owned Iran, so I remain unclear why 3 months later it looks like Iran is calling the shots and acting like it is up to them to accept or not any deal.

Imagine this resolution, largely of course by the democrats, wanting to pull out of a war which can only result in making their own country look weak and hapless severely damaging it around the globe in our ability to project power.

Saying not the least about it reaffirming Iran's control of what is an international waterway affecting 20% of the global oil supply. What bragging rights--- Iran could then say they survived the USA, drove them off and won. Then they redouble their hold on the Gulf oil, rebuild their military and nuke program, and morph into super global bullies the like to shame even Hitler.

All because the Democrats will do anything to continually try to make their own president look bad any way, anytime they can.

It excited the Democrats media all over the country. Will the resolution pass in the Senate? I do not believe it has a chance. Then should the senate agree, will Trump veto it? Sure, he will.
