Victor D Hanson is a lecturer at Hoover Institute at Stanford University in CA. CA is very fortunate to have him there. Why did the Battleship vanish from navies? Italy had none, was that a mistake in WW 2? Japan had the world's largest. So why didn't Japan win? This is complex. It invites comments from those who understand navy vessels and war.

I've always enjoyed his common-sense lectures, in which he goes in depth on many of the nuts and bolts of diplomacy and American hegemony and its necessity.
