Despite the collapse of the Soviet Union, the failures of Castro's Cuba, and China's slow but inexorable movement away from a centrally planned economy toward a market economy, liberals have not learned from history and still believe socialism/marxism works.

Yeah, you name one liberal that supports a state run totalitarian economy and any aspects of marxism. Social democracies aren't marxist by the way.

You know bedowin, I see they are always making fun of your posts, which are usually opinions with a link; although, sometimes no link.

I find that is having many more gonads, than some KLUTZ who posts page, after page, after page of links, but can never ever put his/her own foot forward on an opinion. You say one thing, and you have some screwball posting pages full of sites, and thinks he is a genius. He/she doesn't understand that regurgitation is nothing more than vomit, and even on the internet it smells bad!

This person doesn't understand that quality over a tremendous amount of posts is the way to convince people. Most everyone (including lefties) probably roll their eyes. I certainly hope is getting a stipend for his effort, because if not, he/she is wasting a tremendous amount of his/her life, that he/she will never get back.

Personally, I feel sorry for him/her, and his 3 kids; if they actually exist. I almost want to send his children a check to keep their heads above water while he/she posts away, but maybe tough love is needed here. If they see the error of his/her ways, they will become conservatives, and never, ever look back!

This is a complete myth. According to the Federal Reserve's own records, at no time did the Fed pull money out of the system. Although it's true that the money supply contracted 31 percent between 1929 and 1933, this was not because of the Fed. Rather, the contraction was caused by three dramatic runs on banks, which would close 10,000 banks by 1933. So many failures were significant, because bank deposits formed 92 percent of all the money in circulation.
