Who is to blame for the spread of Corona in the US? Ask Trump.

Everyone but not him. His declared zero error policy is working out again!

And those things he said in the early days, when it was spreading, how he downplayed the whole thing?

That wasn't him. That was a CGI character created by the deep state fake news Hitler commies, using a phony voice.

Yesterday I had to make 3 trips to Home Depot to get parts to install the new freestanding tub on my latest bathroom remodel. All three trips resulted in my astonishment at how many people were there buying non essential shit like plants, potting soil, etc... Many of which were much older people the ones most affected!
Is Trump to blame for their sheer disregard for their own safety?

When local politicians say goto the typical spring social gatherings like in New Orleans or China Town and an outbreak spreads is Trump responsible?

Short of declaring martial law what could the president have done to force local municipalities to stop the spread? And had he done that EVERYONE on both sides would have come unglued.

After seeing all the kids celebrating spring break at the shore, and seeing the all the people at Mardi Gras, is it any wonder that the virus spread so fast? Was that Trump's fault? Hell no.
You don't think so? Guess what, he has and had the power to declare a national stay at home order. Instead, he chooses to leave it to individual governors. That is his fault.

There is no authority for the President to issue such an order.

Perpetrating this lie is your fault.

Yes. A national state of emergency combined with a national stay at home order should have been issued before those events took place. But Trump prioritized the economy over human life (and still does) thereby making the outbreak worse and, ironically, the damage to the economy more extensive.

In a time of crisis, congress could very easily grant those emergency powers to a president. I will tell you why he hasn't asked Congress to do so. A crisis like this means hard choices have to be made. Now he can shift blame to governors when the shit hits that fan as he has. And take victory laps when stuff goes right, which he'll undoubtedly do.

LOL, first you call Trump a dictator, and now when he lets the states make decisions based on their circumstances you blame Trump. Who enforces these "stay at home orders"? Hint: no one.
Its much more complex than a "stay at home order". Who decides who has to go to work? What industrial fabrication is essential? What about transportation, sanitation, food, utilities, law enforcement, etc?
You can blame Trump, but its not his job to micro-manage the states, all of whom have different circumstances. One size does NOT fit all.

Got to love either the undereducated or the purposely stupid.
We had the crazy left wanting Trump to have less power more oversight, they even wanted him removed from office. Then within weeks of that you suddenly pivot and want him to rule with an iron fist. You want him to become a dictator. You are even upset that he didn't.
And you wonder why people point and laugh.

Actually, at NO TIME does Congress have the right to violate the Constitution.

But hey, Trump could always declare martial law and suspend habeas corpus, right?

At this moment in time (before the power grab is complete) the President, regardless of who is in the position, cannot declare a national lockdown.

Now, if you want him to declare martial law, that means EVERYONE, no exceptions, will be locked in their homes and not permitted to leave on pain of imprisonment.

Are you that scared yet?

Declaring a national state of emergency gives the prez broad powers to coordinate the national response.
Yea, but it does NOT include violating the civil liberties of the people. All it really means is that red tape is cut and *even* more money is spent.

Hell, some of the lockdown orders by the Governors are violating the US Constitution along with their own State Constitutions.
