Yesterday I had to make 3 trips to Home Depot to get parts to install the new freestanding tub on my latest bathroom remodel. Its much more complex than a "stay at home order". Who decides who has to go to work? What industrial fabrication is essential? What about transportation, sanitation, food, utilities, law enforcement, etc?

At this moment in time (before the power grab is complete) the President, regardless of who is in the position, cannot declare a national lockdown.

Now, if you want him to declare martial law, that means EVERYONE, no exceptions, will be locked in their homes and not permitted to leave on pain of imprisonment.
