The public reactions from the 7 may-issue blue states affected by the Bruen decision, as well as a number of left-leaning politicians, pundits and commentators, give the appearance that said states are seriously considering ignoring said ruling

The obvious question:
If Democrats can ignore supreme court rulings, so then can everyone else?

Democrats have left orbit. They don't like our Constitution, won't obey the law, and are abusing the law and turning it into an instrument of partisan plunder.

What was the Bruen decision?

As citizens, we pledge our loyalty to the flag and to live by our constitution.

Those who refuse to live by our Constitution under our system of law are in effect declaring themselves anarchists and enemy combatants thus rescinding their citizenship and need treated accordingly.

They would just like to have their cake and eat it too. I have no problem as long as they take no action against it.

Andrew Jackson did it once before. It was a disgraceful action on his part.

"May issue" CCW permit systems which require the demonstration of a 'special need" to carry a gun violate the constitution.
The Supreme Court ruling on New York, kicks that out the window, opening up lawsuits against the states that were requiring special needs to avail themselves of their right, if the state fails to comply.

Right.
These states, at least presently. give the appearance they are seriously considering ignoring said ruling.

yeh but as a friend used to say

that kind of thinking is "too much like right"

and I am not talking about right politically, just right as in Just..

But anyhow... November is right around the corner

Right.

Repubs are slow. But they will eventually follow the progs who lead in these things. The Repub voters have tried to vote in newer people who reflect their views. But a percentage are still establishment types.

The thread premise is a lie – Democrats are not ‘ignoring’ Supreme Court rulings – regardless how it might ‘appear’ to the dishonest partisan right.
