The hodge podge of laws nationwide needs to change. The 2nd Amendment is clear. There should be no restrictions on open carry ANYWHERE. If the SCOTUS has determined that a CC permit is constitutional, then that permit should be issued by the feds and it should be valid in all US jurisdictions.

Society has changed you dont walk down the street with a gun in the open. Thats not normal behavior and you will be stopped by the police. If your hunting no one cares. If youre in the city we care. So far many states do have reciprocity. A challenge to the SC would win. You dont lose rights when you cross a state line.

"...the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." There is no qualifier that says "except when in town" or anywhere else. Does society have the right to tell you that you can wear a hat --- EXCEPT when you go the the restroom? The idea that they can tell me where I can carry a gun is ridiculous.
