A lot of hostility here over OC. For clarity, personally I am not a fan of OC in urban environments, as it presents too much of an opportunity for others to try to grab your firearm or target you otherwise. A level I - III holster is really required, but those are can be quite bulky. Rural I have no issue with.

For this to be an increased chance of violence otherwise-schools appear to be mentioned - statistics would have to show a higher propensity of noncriminal OC'ers committing mass shootings. I would submit pistol OC'ers are no higher a percentage of criminals in this or other circumstances.

We don't have carry permits to carry a gun (UK), just make sure when you're transporting it, it's in a case or bag unloaded and locked in the boot (trunk) of your car. If you carried it in public for the fallacy of defence, you are not a safe gun owner and do not have the responsibility to own a gun. Gun ownership in the UK is for safe owners, that's why the US has horrendous gun stats, some near 40,000 deaths per year.

In January of 2023, Alabama will become the 25th state in the U.S. that isn't requiring any permits to carry a gun in public. In recent years, more and more states have enacted similar legislation. Indiana, together with Georgia and Ohio, did so this year. The change made headlines as it occurred just two weeks before a deadly mass shooting at a mall in an Indianapolis suburb, where a gunman killed three and wounded two more before being shot dead by a bystander who also carried a gun.

again, demofks are against showing proof of citizenship.
