My Country home is in the Swasey / Centerville area near old Shasta & Whiskeytown Lake and my Mountain home is in Ultra Rural North Eastern Shasta County ( Southern Cascades 1 hour north east of Redding )

No the Southern Cascades stretches from Oregon to above Mount Lassen ( Including Mount Shasta ) my Mountain home is closer to Mount Shasta than it is to Mount Lassen
