It's not as cut and dry as you want to believe. Examples of these are state in the Catechism as well.
Plus...."Help my unbelief...." Keep in mind, there is a difference between non-belief and rejection.
Paul noted (in Romans, if I recall) that people who had no belief would be judged by what was in their own hearts. But, in your case, there may be a caveat. You once believed. Now you don't. Revelation is pretty strict about that. I'm guessing that makes you extremely happy that you can now grouse about God being an ol' meanie.
It's not that hard to enter into the kingdom of God. Be kind and loving. As Rabbi Hillel said, "Scripture is about love God, love your neighbor...everything else is commentary." Forget about what you think God did or didn't do. Forget about what you think the Church did or didn't do. Look inwardly. You don't believe in God, SO WHAT!!? Love your fellow man and forget the commentary. It's the best you can do.
