The ruins of a large Catholic church which was built in the centre of Dublin more than 300 years ago have been discovered on the Apollo House site.
....A church was first built on the site in 1709 in Penal times when the practice of Catholicism was banned. In spite of the religious restrictions, the chapel flourished and attracted thousands of worshippers.

And then this discovery will essentially be done with and they will continue to build right over it.
