When was war declared against Venezuela?

Oil companies always want access to more oil fields. No one cares about Lukoil, except how to prevent them from selling oil.

It's oversimplificating. Actual life is much more sophisticated.
True, there are a few moron Never-Trumpers in the Republican party, but they have no power. Rubio is not one. g5000 is one.
Anyway. There are a lot of people who want Trump f#cked up. And what could be better for it than escalation in Europe and wars in Latin America?

After Trump it will probably be JD Vance to carry on with Trump's policies.
May be. May be not, if American people are disappointed in Trump and the whole MAGA movement. And they will be very disappointed in the case of, say, nuclear burst in Chicago, as in "The House of Dynamite" movie.

Its not how smart American generals are, its how smart Venezuela's generals are.
Hegseth got rid of the dumb generals.
As if Venezuela's Army is controlled by Venezuela's Generals. There are Russian and Chinese advisors for it.
Anyway, this summer I have been to a Latin America and trained some guys. Those guys were, surprisingly, very smart and well educated.

The oil business has always been complex. We have a new TV series called "Landman". Its one of my favorite shows. Its about a small company in Texas not a huge international, but I'm sure the big ones like Chevron, BP, ExxonMobil, Shell and the new ones from China are all vying for new oil fields to replace older fields.
Anyway. There are a lot of people who want Trump f#cked up. And what could be better for it than escalation in Europe and wars in Latin America?
True. They even tried to shoot him twice, but he's still doing a great job. Any "wars" in Latin America will be quick coups like the CIA is good at, especially after Maduro's money dries up and the troops rebel.

US politics ebbs and flows, unlike Russia's dictatorship. In 2026 democrats might take the House, which will be inconvenient, but not decisive. Trump still has 3-years in the Whitehouse, which is decisive. We have multi-layered ABM systems that could prevent a nuclear strike.

Ok, but would they prefer to die for Maduro (or "advisors") or live in a democracy, that is their choice.
Smart guys don't care who signs their checks, as long as they keep getting paid.

It is not their actual choice. Actual choice is to be robbed and slaughtered by Americans or use help from Russia and China.

Smart guys don't care who signs their checks, as long as they keep getting paid.
The difference is that Russia take 30% of their oil and America wants to take 100% and not to pay them at all.

Not sure what kind of "help" you are referring to?
I'm not seeing any type of "help" that could keep Maduro in power.

Maduro takes 100% of the oil.
After Maduro is gone the new government can negotiate with the big oil companies for the best deal.

You'll see soon. Let it be surprise.

Of course no. Maduro is still in power because he is not that greedy. More than 30% of Venezuela's oil belongs to Russian companies.

One of us sure will be.

After Maduro is gone the oil resources will probably be renegotiated with the new government.
Trump has a blockade on, no oil leaving Venezuela.

One of us sure will be.
But, looks like I'm better informed.
After Maduro is gone the oil resources will probably be renegotiated with the new government.
If Maduro is gone. And if Venezuela's people (say nothing about Russian and Chinese advisors) accept him or her. (And given the greed of Americans they'll hardly suggest better terms than Russians)

Trump has a blockade on, no oil leaving Venezuela.
So what? You need to keep blockade for a long time to have any results. And all this time your fleet is playing sitting ducks observed from Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua. You'll hardly achieve any result without boots on the ground. And even with boots on the ground nothing is guaranteed (while you definitely have some advantages in Western Hemisphere).

OK, you now have all of the Epstein files, go get them!
As you know by now, we don't. I can't believe you thought this lawless regime would abide by the law trump signed.

Trump won’t rule out war with Venezuela

President Donald Trump remains open to war with Venezuela, he told NBC News in a phone interview Thursday, even as a majority of Americans oppose military action against the South American country led by longtime strongman Nicolas Maduro.

But Trump declined to get into specifics when asked what his ultimate goals were for Caracas.

“He knows exactly what I want,” Trump told NBC News, referencing Maduro. “He knows better than anybody.”

I'm not sure that he does. In all likelihood Dotard doesn't know what he wants either. Other than "waging the dog."

Hegseth got rid of the dumb generals.
Not really. He got rid of generals who are smart enough to know what an idiotic fraud Pete is.

Maduro is hiding under the bed.

Pete is re-configuring the Department to have more war fighters and fewer generals clogging the Pentagon based on his book "The War on Warriors". He ended the moronic EV tank program.

1. Where's the proof? 2. Even if they are transporting drugs, US and international law do not allow for them to be murdered at sea.
the videos are proof. those boats are made for fast transport of drugs to US kids, nothing more. So would you prefer that we blow them up in US waters?

bullshit, US oil companies always pay for the crude they use, no matter where it comes from.

What law is being used here?

You realize that both sides have had Intel briefings on this, other than a few bedwetters who were shocked after the briefing and viewing the video, there's been no noise since then
