The Earth As Seen From Artemis.

It seems there are some concerns about the heat shield.

The most dangerous part of the mission yet to come.
The SLS Orion capsule used older heat shield technology. It is ablative and burns off. pieces that were chunk size burned off on the unmanned launch a few years ago. Still supposedly safe if humans were in the capsule. The angle to return to earth is even better this time and there should be no issue even if there was one.

Hope you are right.

The moon landing was real. Dinosaurs existed. The earth is not flat. If you're offended by this post, good.

NASA's Artemis II crew has already travelled further from Earth than any humans before them, but experts warn that the most dangerous part is yet to come.

Before returning to Earth, the Orion crew capsule will have to make a blazing plunge through the atmosphere.

The 16.5ft by 11ft capsule will tear through the air at speeds of up to 25,000 miles per hour (40,230 km/h).

I watched the same thing on my TV in England in 1969, it's the same old same old, how much is this silliness costing you all?
Silliness? We are going to put space stations on the moon. Military space stations too. We will own space because, people like you hold your own countries back with your iduocy and short sightedness. :dunno:

Blimey, I saw all the man made global warming in that photograph
You think that's a zinger, but it makes you look kind of dumb. An educated person would realize how relatively thin the atmosphere is in that picture, showing how plausible it is for humans to affect the atmosphere.

No you're not.
Military space stations too.
Dream on.
We will own space
I already own it.

In my country a prescription always costs ten dollars no matter what the medicine is and we don't have school shootings or a president with an IQ of 30.

My country invented the fuel cell that got you to the moon and back, it invented the cavity magentron, the jet engine, television, the stored program computer, the steam engine and The Beatles.

The British empire is a relic of conquest, slaughter and brutality. A footnote in history. It cost you credibility.

Geez there is always one. The Moon Landing was real. How far did you go in high school.
“Biden is as sharp as a tack” You were absent for high school.

So the Canadian astronaut was indeed euthanized for suffering several bruises during liftoff. I only see three astronauts in the article.

Every idiot raise your hand who doesn't understand why stars dont appear in pictures of the Moon and Earth taken by Artemis astronauts.
