Zone1 When Is A Baby Considered Alive?

Yeah. The anti abortion people pushed for those laws to set a precedent convenient to their agenda.

Well, your second question - "When does a legally protected life begin?" is the valid question we need to answer. To me, "birth" is the only reasonable answer.
Well, even the Court of Roe v Wade disagreed with you.

* Penalties As If An Offense Had Happened To The Mother *

Yet in deep blue MA if a woman is one second pregnant and is killed because of a DUI. The person who killed her is charged with a double homicide.
Until we can agree on the answer to MY question, the abortion debate is pointless
The offense is against the mother and the punishment can be commensurate with the wrong of the offense .

Note , a death penalty cannot be a punishment for killing a fetus , as by equitable doctrine , an individual may lose their own rite to life by removing a rite to life of another .

The abortion anti-choice wish to ignore first principles and technical aspects of law , and technically a fetus does not have a rite to life by which a death penalty could be applied .

So at 35 weeks a mother may kill the fetus even though the fetus can survive? Interesting. Barbaric even.
I am pro choice btw. But not that barbaric
What leads to a conclusion that every fetus that can survive should survive , what if offspring cannot themselves reproduce and therefore not be considered progeny ?

What is the compulsion of abortion anti-choice to disavow with cause abortion for developmental anomalies , whether in the mother or in the developing offspring ?

So if 'life' is defined by a soul, when does it enter the body ?
~S~
A soul , a sole , a feet us , a feat of us , a fetus without a caudal tail , coinciding with a quickening at approximately 15-16 weeks , or 120 days according to lore from qurayshism .

ok Monk, we've at least one answer to a simple Q here, thx ~S~

A fetus is always alive. The question is when is it a person with inherent rights.

Oh wait you’re a bot

lol

That's an easy one.

Life began 4 billion years ago and is an ongoing process.

It doesn't make any zygote, embryo, or fetus more valuable than the woman it is inside.
And that's the discussion we need to have. We need to first acknowledge that an unborn child at any stage of development is a living human being. Then we can discuss the value of the human life, and don't worry, we already place differing value on human lives. You gladly accept, for example, the loss of tens of thousands of lives every year just because you like to drive fast. Make it impossible for cars to move faster than 35 mph and watch the highway deaths drop off the radar screen.

Wet fart, I usually have you on ignore...

But the thing is, making laws against abortion doesn't stop abortions. There were just as many abortions happening before Roe v. Wade as there were afterward. And there are just as many abortions still happening after Dobbs as there was before Dobbs.

A fetus has less value than the woman it's inside, because at the end of the day, it's her decision.

Now, there are ways to get women to choose abortion less often. Universal health care, paid family leave, comprehensive sex education and wide availability of contraceptives.

You know, all stuff conservatives hate and keep voting against.

There is a way to no abortion, personal responsibility, which I understand escapes you!
