/----/ You are ill-informed, or just playing stupid. This has been discussed numerous times here in USMB.What makes someone a “Conservative”?
Basically an indifference to the suffering of others.

Republicans generally donate more to charity than Democrats, both in household contributions and at the community level.
Key Findings on Political Affiliation and Giving
Research consistently shows that conservative-leaning households contribute more to charity than liberal-leaning households. According to Arthur Brooks, households led by conservatives donate approximately 30% more than those led by liberals, and some studies suggest conservatives may give nearly twice the average annual contributions compared to liberals (GreenLivingTribe)greenlivingtribe.com. This pattern is also reflected geographically: counties dominated by Republicans report higher charitable contributions than Democratic-leaning counties, although in blue counties, giving is often supplemented by higher taxes (Giving Compass)

Types of Charitable Giving
Republicans tend to favor private institutions, such as religious organizations and schools, whereas Democrats may focus more on public welfare programs. This distinction sometimes reflects “consumption philanthropy”, where donors benefit indirectly from their contributions, such as through improved local schools or religious programs (Giving Compass)givingcompass.org. Despite Democrats’ vocal concern for social issues, their personal financial contributions to charity are generally lower than those of Republicans (GreenLivingTribe)

Broader Context
While Republicans give more in private donations, overall U.S. charitable giving has remained around 2% of GDP over decades, with religious causes consistently being the most popular target (Philanthropy Roundtable)philanthropyroundtable.org. Internationally, Americans are among the most charitable populations, donating more per capita than Europeans, even though European countries provide more extensive social safety nets (GreenLivingTribe)

Summary
- Republicans donate more to charity than Democrats, both in household-level giving and county-level contributions.
- Conservative donors often direct funds to private institutions, while liberal donors may rely more on public programs or government interventions.
- Political affiliation is a strong predictor of charitable behavior, though overall generosity in the U.S. remains high compared to other countries.
This data highlights that private charitable giving is influenced not only by income and wealth but also by political ideology, with Republicans consistently contributing more financially to nonprofit causes.
It doesn't to most people.

Conserve the good and get rid of the bad.In my opinion since this is an opinion forum and facts rarely matter:
1) Limited Govt. States and local rule over Federal rule when possible, which should lead to fiscal responsibility.
2) Personal responsibility over Govt is here to help
3) Support of Free Markets. Reasonable taxes. Reasonable regulation
4) Traditional values aka no furries, trans crap,
DEI
5) Strong and advanced military
6) Support strong border security and contolled
Legal immigration
7) Support strong law enforcement none of this cashless bail and such. Back the Blue
8) Support 2A
9) End birthright citizenship for illegals
10) Death penalty for convicted violent criminals
11) Pride in being an American
12) Reduce perpetual social programs and create a system of reward for work not for gaming the system
13) There are only two genders
Doesn’t sound so bad

/-----/ Uhhh, that's your interpretation. Read it again, slowly: Republicans tend to favor private institutions, such as religious organizations and schools,Your link..
Republicans contribute more to their churches while Democrats contribute to public welfare programs
These are churches the Republicans actually benefit from and pays for a pastor, chapel, heat, air conditioning, building maintenance…not necessarily helping the local community
| Feature | Private Institutional Giving (Conservative-Leaning) | Public/Welfare Giving (Liberal-Leaning) |
| Primary Vehicle | Churches, Private Foundations, Local Charities | Government Programs, Advocacy Groups, Secular NGOs |
| Key Value | Subsidiarity: Problems should be handled by the smallest, most local authority possible. | Social Justice: Systematic issues require broad, state-level interventions and policy changes. |
| Desired Outcome | Individual transformation and local community stability. | Large-scale equity and the strengthening of the social safety net. |
The tale of two ranches.
A Republican ranch is productive, careful to manage money, eager to produce food for the nation.
The Democrat ranch pays no attention to his ranch, tells others to help the needy. Then he is the needy. And looks at Republicans to save his ranch.
