What makes someone a “Conservative”?

The question posed is subjective.

A conservative can also be someone who believes in moving forward gradually. The idea being that the nation first should look to tradition and history as a guide.

Using a car for illustrative purposes: If a progressive is the acceleration, a conservative is the brakes. Together there is balance. While the former seeks to move forward quickly on an issue, the latter remains more deliberate looking for ways to tweak and improve the current model.

My two cents…

In my opinion since this is an opinion forum and facts rarely matter:

1) Limited Govt. States and local rule over Federal rule when possible, which should lead to fiscal responsibility.

2) Personal responsibility over Govt is here to help

3) Support of Free Markets. Reasonable taxes. Reasonable regulation

4) Traditional values aka no furries, trans crap,
DEI

5) Strong and advanced military

6) Support strong border security and contolled
Legal immigration

7) Support strong law enforcement none of this cashless bail and such. Back the Blue

8) Support 2A

9) End birthright citizenship for illegals

10) Death penalty for convicted violent criminals

11) Pride in being an American

12) Reduce perpetual social programs and create a system of reward for work not for gaming the system

13) There are only two genders

Doesn’t sound so bad

🤷‍♂

Thoughts?
Is the following an economic system conservatives support?

"1. A private bank is granted the right to create money

2. The government borrows that money into existence

3. The government spends the money, stimulating the economy

4. The public is taxed to pay interest on the debt to the private bank

5. The bank collects interest on money it created from nothing

6. The debt is never fully repaid; it is rolled over perpetually."

Conservatives killed collective bargaining under the guise of free market.
The workforce became….every man for himself

Please post the legislation conservatives passed to kill collective bargaining. You can’t so you won’t because it doesn’t exist.
MAGAs are not conservatives. They are cult anti inmigrant populists.

We are anti illegal immigrant. Why don’t you tell the truth? You can’t because your talking point will fail.
