Did you miss 1 Cor 5:9-13?--It teaches--do not even eat a meal with one who was called brother( baptized) if they become unrepentant, it says remove them from amongst yourselves.
The reason why is they have taken a stand against God and have become his enemy which makes them our enemy as well( Matt 10:36) Jesus teaches a member of ones own household( family) will be an enemy.
They have taken their stand with the world, Jesus said to be no part of this world.

In the OT for unrepentant= stoned to death, and ones family members had to partake of doing that.
ALL should be thankful God altered that decision for shunning, that way they can still turn around and repent and get reinstated.
No JW or Elders like to see any get disfellowshipped, the elders do all they can to try and prevent that. It hurts many hearts each time one is disfellowshipped, but its the unrepentant ones own fault.

the religious itinerant, jesus - who failed for any of them to listen to him.

said the temple should be kept holy without loan sharks swimming in the pews and that the false commandments by moses and all others are not heavenly and should be elsewhere than a heavenly shrine - the temple where servitude and denial is not allowed.
