To a certain extent, it's the same question as, "what does an exclusive news mean?"
That ties to an exclusive way how a truth shall convey among humans. A piece of news is given to a chosen media. That's how one gives an exclusive story to CNN but not Fox News.
Another analogy is, when the US government has a crucial message for its citizens what shall it do? It shall (the only way) deliver the message to a mass media, which is at end US facing, for the message to reach all citizens. This is already the most efficient way how the message shall be handled.
Since God cannot show up publicly to tell each and everyone separately, as it's a requirement from the Covenant between God and men that humans need faith to be saved. The next most efficient way for God's truth to convey is to go through the limited but pre-defined number of prophets/eyewitnesses, and a chosen media such as CNN...hmm... such as Judaism or Christianity. Christianity is due to the failure of Judaism, that's why Judaism is never human-facing. Among all the religions on earth, only Christianity is human-facing by its nature due to an explicit command from its deity that, "the gospel (news) must preached (broadcast) to all nations. The switching from Judaism to Christianity is more or less like, when the US government found that CNN failed to broadcast towards all states, it switched the chosen media from CNN to Fox News.
