What Character In A Movie Would Be Perfect If You Changed The Character Into A Black Person Or A Woman?

For some reason Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury worked, not because he was black, but because he is fucking awesome.

Well, when David Hasselhoff is the only other actor that comes to mind with regard to the character Nick Fury...

But yes, Jackson is perfect for the role. My understanding is, some years back Marvel comics approached him and asked permission use his likeness when they updated the character in print. Seems he said yes...

Several of Charlton Heston's films from the seventies would not suffer if his characters' race or gender were changed...

Soylent Green

Gray Lady Down

The Omega Man
(that was already done with Will Smith...)

Earthquake

Skyjacked

Two Minute Warning

Airport 1975
(though I imagine dropping the 1975 would be in order)

Any of the Planet of the Ape movies...

Couldn’t follow the plot of the movie?

Watch Blues Clues…

No problem with the plot. It was stolen from the 1984 original. The problem was it was dumb. Unnecessary and dumb. They thought they could improve on the original, they failed spectacularly and the result was a steaming pile of feces.

Paul Feig is capable of good work, this just wasn't close to good. Same goes for all four of the women, they are all capable of good work, but the Ghostbusters remake wasn't close to the same zip code as good. Twelve year olds know how bad it was. That you fail to see it, speaks volumes.
