What are you depending on government to do for you?

I have been asking myself that very question for decades and to date the only thing I can come up with is,,,

LESS!!

every problem in my life from business to the house I live in has been harder because of what legislation done,,
Americans like you and me are swamped with Government. We have the Feds. We have States. We have Counties. We have cities. We have wives. I want the wives and the rest can back the hell off.

"Well-regulated" economies have been shown to be less productive than free enterprise capitalism.
False. Well-regulated economies, or mixed economies provide the best outcome for their citizens in terms of quality of life, cost of living..etc. National socialist Germany is a good example of that as well. The unicorn, imaginary self-regulating "free market", with its invisible hand always results in gross inequality, loss of vital national infrastructure, and mass social unrest. Capitalists must be forced by law to serve the country and capitalism is redefined as a service to the community, prioritizing the public good and what is best for the nation, not what is most profitable for a small class of wealthy elitists.

National socialism makes capitalism functional and doable. Otherwise, it turns everything to shit.

Those idiots in Washington won't stop until the country financially collapses. $35 trillion in debt, hey lets borrow and waste another $100 trillion FESTIVAL FESTIVAL (politicians run through the streets screaming while ripping off their clothes)
Completely understand where you are coming from, however I would submit that they're not idiots, they know exactly what they're doing. This is how you loot a country, flood it with rivers of fiat currency, buy up all the real assets and then let currency collapse, leaving the citizenry at large destitute and dependent on You.

What I'm proposing is the very opposite of what you're saying. It's an actual solution. Abandoning human beings out in the desert or woods isn't a solution.

That's why I said that if really you want to make difference ... Understand that no one will do it for you ...
You cannot pass it off to the government ... You cannot pretend sending them to a group session will get the job done.
You're going to have to make that commitment yourself and step the fuck up ... Or you are just pissing in the wind.

If you were still alive after 90 days and being dropped on a stump by yourself in the wilderness ...
I wouldn't have to tell you that ... You would already understand what it takes ...

The government is the embodiment of the people's power and authority to solve large-scale challenges that require mass mobilization and resources. That's what is needed to eliminate homelessness and substance abuse, at a national scale. The government in collaboration with the people is the solution for these national, social challenges, not just your church or privately run charity. The government can cooperate, fund, empower, and provide resources to churches and private charities, rehab centers..etc. This government effort doesn't have to be carried out only using government facilities or equipment, it can contract private industry as well, including charities and individuals, but the government will be an important element in resolving the problem.

The same applies to securing our borders and deporting illegals.

Current Federal expenditures are $6.8 Trillion for this year, on top of all the trillions they've already spent and the states have already spent, how come they haven't solved those problems yet? How much more money will it take?

What legislation do you need from government to make your life better?
Good question. First and foremost Stay out of our personal lives. No matter if you're black , brown or white ; straight , gay or transgendered. Secondly our government is increasingly entertained with our healthcare. We may as well have universal healthcare already , we're half way there already and there's no going back to the bad old days. Finally get the Supreme Court out of politics altogether. It shouldn't be leaning right or left It should simply serve reason and justice. Then it might be able to regain some of it's integrity. If human beings can't do that then it's time to allow artificial intelligence to run the courts. That might be the answer for all government. Get the unstable factors out of it completely.

If you think mass mobilization, government, authority and resources it what it takes ...
To cure what is wrong when it comes to a person living in an alley with a needle stuck I their arm ...
Then you are delusional ... To a point you will probably never understand what is actually required ...
And you will continue to insist on same damn failure that keeps them there in the first place.

Just accept that you are part of the problem ...

Crap policy. Crap government, in the pocket of capitalists, serving capital to the detriment of the people. We could do much more with less, if the money was actually used properly. I served in the US Army as a Unit Supply Specialist. My MOS was 76 Yankee. I used to do inventory of the supply room and I would get a list of all of the money that was spent on our supplies by the federal government. The DOD back in 1991, when I was in, was spending $80 for a simple screwdriver manufactured in China, that you and I can buy at Home Depot for $10. This thirty years ago, can you imagine what the DOD is paying today for that screwdriver? It's NUTS. No wonder the feds are spending nearly a trillion on defense.

National socialism would eliminate all of that unnecessary expenditure, bringing prices down for the government and forcing capitalists to serve the country. Capitalism only works when it prioritizes serving the community. It's a service to the country, and every business owner is a vital component in our nation's success. Capitalists are the main job creators, the ones who generate jobs, allowing people to work and earn a living. Capitalists must be patriots, serving the people, it's not just a means to make a profit and get rich. No one should get wealthy at the expense of the country or the working class. The working class and the wealthy employer class, must work together, and look out for each other's interests.

The federal government can't do much without state and local governments.
Interesting, if that's the case, why not just get rid of the Federal Government and keep the state and local ones?

Always nice to meet a fellow Ex-Soldier.

Question, Under the system you advocate, what incentives do "capitalists" have to "serve the country"?
