Zone1 Were there human beings before Adam and Eve?

Many peole worship the Kim families as gods. As i type this. Because someone told them the Kims are gods.

Because someone told them they saw Jesus perform a miracle.

See the trend?

Plenty of women were put to death for sorcery in this very land, a few hundred years ago.

Again... so? Thats a function of the written word being discovered at the same time as the myths.

There are also many accounts of Muhammed, the perfect human.

The accounts of Greek mythology are myriad and deep.

I am not seeing any good evidence Jesus was a god or a son of a god. Just plenty of evidence some peope said he was, including himself.

A dubious claim to make.
You are missing the point. The 24,000 written accounts explain why and when Jesus was worshiped as God and the Babylonian Talmud confirms the accounts of the 24,000 written manuscripts. In other words the accounts have been confirmed by two independent sources.

Now walk me through your conspiracy theory.

In other words, it is based upon you. But, as I said, there is nothing in the ages given to indicate an allegory...other than you just don't believe it.

And your unbelief means nothing to me. I believe the Bible. Not you.

Remember earlier, when you were playing dumb and pretended not to see yourself as at odds with other Christians or that they can be and often are at odds with each other?

It's kind of hard to play dumb about it now, I think.

God gave you a brain. Use it.

No, I remember how you an atheist is here in the 'religion' arena, always bitching about Christians who believe. Do you remember that?

I think you don't have to play dumb. It comes naturally to you and your science.

Well, God gave me the faith also, which I use. Apparently you received no such gift. Keep using that 'brain' of yours. It has a time limit. My faith provides for me eternally.

I have faith too and I'm willing to bet mine gives me more peace than yours does.

1 Corinthians 15:45
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Romans 5:14
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

Adam was the first man to receive a body of flesh and bones. Jesus Christ was the first man to receive a resurrected immortal body of flesh and bones.

How does 'God' explain good comes from bad?

Quantrill
The Bible teaches that God can use evil situations for good, but He does not cause evil; rather, He is sovereign and can bring a good outcome from bad circumstances, such as enabling repentance or a community's compassion. This is distinct from the idea that evil itself becomes good, and the Bible strongly warns against those who confuse evil and good. Instead of producing good from evil, the Bible teaches that believers are to "overcome evil with good" by responding to evil with love and kindness.

Examples of good from bad
  • Romans 8:28: "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose".
  • Genesis 50:20: Joseph tells his brothers, "As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today".
  • 2 Corinthians 4:17: "For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison".

Overcoming evil with good
  • Romans 12:21: "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good".
  • Romans 12:20: This verse expands on the previous one by saying, "if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink".

Other verses on God turning hardship to good
  • Psalm 30:11: "You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have undone my sackcloth and girded me with gladness".
  • Joel 2:25: "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten".
  • Mark 5:21-43: This passage describes a woman with a chronic illness who was healed by touching Jesus' cloak, showing how a long-standing problem led to a moment of faith and redemption.

Why do you believe those verses and do not believe the ages of those prior to the flood as recorded in (Genesis)? Why arn't those an allegory?

Because I have a brain and I use it.

Because I have a brain and I use it.

In other words, you don't have faith. You just believe what you want to, what appeals to you. You do not have the faith that God gives the believers.

Go ahead and enjoy your brain. It has a time limit. My faith sees me into eternity.

The 24,000 written accounts explain why and when Jesus was worshiped as God

there are no written accounts of what never occurred - the religious itinerant praised the heavens as a goal for accomplishment achievable by everyone including himself and nothing more.
