Zone1 Well regulated militia

If only you took the time to read links.
If only you read the crime reporting fraud the UK police have been engaged in for years.

Have a large apartment building with lots of crime?

No worries, just report one crime. It's the same address isn't it....

Did.

Imports driving your rates?
If you did, you would have just needed to copy and paste the section on knife crime. But you deflect, you're in cliché land, you need to get back to your 'well regulated' militia with the high violence and gun deaths.

It's time to pick over the terminology again of this well written document.

I specifically asked you about knife crime, you got your panties all in a wad...... trying to show your moral superiority over guns in jolly old England and refuse to admit when one can't get a gun, they just go to the next means available.

I say, old man.......

The thread is about a well regulated militia. Details on knife crime is in my link, do read it. You guys deflect to knife crime when discussing guns, it's a 'change of subject' tactic, one of the many used clichés in my thread Bad Lands.

IF America's militia is the people, they're supposed to be well regulated and you have such high gun deaths the stats causes a nose bleed, what would deaths be if you're not well regulated

My kind of militia.

Not all people are militia.

All you commoners need to wake up....

Hate to see you lose your head over a choice.

In conversation with Yanks, and the septic Yanks too over the continued argument of the wording in the US constitution (that's allegedly the best laid out clear document on the planet cough), the militia is the people.

The gun stats are dreadful, so the well regulated militia is thus dreadful. Imagine the stats if the militia is not well regulated!!

So do you have a different meaning with militia? You guys are not singing off the same song sheet with this fantastic clear laid out crafted document.

Well Regulated, at the time the 2nd Amendment was written...meant " in good working order".

It had NOTHING to do with laws.

"Well regulated" at the time the Constitution was written meant properly operating. A good watch or Chronometer was well regulated, meaning it kept good time. And the unorganized militia in the USA today is well regulated in both meanings of the word. Our gun crimes don't come from average armed citizens, they come from criminals that the "justice system" refuses to punish properly.

The members of the unorganized militia rarely commit crimes and keep their weapons in far better operational order than the active military.
Well regulated would mean well trained and having some organized structure for a response, if necessary. And if the people are members of the unorganized militia, not every person sees eye to eye with this concept.

No, it doesn't. And it most certainly didn't when the 2nd was written.

And THAT is all that matters.
