One can easily vote against a UN “resolution” about Russia without being on Putin’s “side.” If the President sees such finger-pointing as being deleterious to HIS ongoing efforts to negotiate a peaceful end to that war, he is free to vote against the resolution. )Probably more about the phrasing than about the truth of the matter.)

Personally, it seems clear that Russia — which did invade the sovereign nation of Ukraine — is primarily responsible for the war. But negotiating peace deals isn’t made any easier when you haven’t deal with meaningless UN “resolutions.”

We waited for Biden and Harris to fix this for almost 3 and 1/2 years. They did NOTHING but pour 350 BILLION of our dollars into it, while Europe paid far less.

If I was Trump......and I am not........I would tell the Europeans to take this over totally; including the costs going forward, negotiating peace, and if because of their actions Russia turns its guns on a NATO country, they need to DEAL WITH IT!

Do we want the Ukrainians to be safe and whole? Yes, of course we do; but this should have been dealt with over 2 years ago, and if it was, Joe or Kamala might still be in the Whitehouse. Don't blame us, your side has always, and continued to, screw the pooch in negotiations, by either cutting sh** deals like with North Korea and Iran, or not even trying like they have with the Russia/Ukraine war.

Had to look elsewhere. There were actually two votes the first one was the Ukrainian resolution that demanded immediate withdrawal by Russia. US voted against. The second one was the amended US resolution which the US abstained from.
