Parts of the economy have a lag, those parts that rebound fast after a long depressed state that was caused by COVID are particularly late. Fast rebound causes inflation.

The bottom line is actually this: Congress has an extremely low approval rating. They always do no matter who is president. Presidents always have a higher approval rating than Congress does. And, Congress would just love to have all the power and the president have zero power. Think about that for a while.
