Is that what you think I was saying when I said you are not a credible witness for Catholicism?
Your beliefs and interpretations are at odds with the Catechism.
That I studied the "catechism" and am at odds with it NOW is because it is stupid. When I was a believer, I was a TRUE Christian. I never once said I am still a cult Catholic.
It is a common ploy for those who call themselves a Catholic will always accuse those who are also a Catholic but disagree with their warped beliefs that they never were, or are a "true" Catholic.
In order to save face, when a formerly devout believer leaves, the one still standing there will say, "He never really was a true Christian."
Dingbell: He said there may be some mistakes in the bible. He's no true Christian
Man: He attends mass every week
Dingbell: That doesn't make him a Christian. He doesn't go to confession.
Man: He says confession to a priest isn't in the bible.
Dingbell: It doesn't have to be. The lord says we must repent.
Man: He's told me he believes in a heaven.
Dingbell. I happen to know he doesn't believe in a hell and Jesus talked about Hellfire.
Man: That wasn't a real hell. It was about a local dump always on fire.
Dingbell: I still say he is no "TRUE" Christian and never was. I am though
