You know they were sent there to "rest" didn't you. Concrete slabs are not known for comfort between 12 hour shifts. That's how democrat leaders like pelosi and schumer treat the little people who protect their lives, and several states have called their members back home. Two or three out of fifty states are horrified by the evil people who are taking one more stab to violate the Constitution to sully the most popular President in 40 years in spite of the lying foulkers in the press who spent four long years eating President Trump's liver 300 times an hour. You know this is not where they sleep for the night, right?Dear God, please bless our dear troops. May good come of the hardships they have been put through while Congress sleeps on luxury mattresses, the dogs in their homes have better beds than they give those who serve America best. We are so embarrassed for our National Guardians. Please come to their aid. Thousands of National Guardsmen were forced to vacate congressional grounds on Thursday and are now taking their rest breaks outside and in nearby parking garages, after two weeks of sleepless nights protecting the nation’s capital in the wake of the violent assault on Jan. 6.
One unit, which had been resting in the Dirksen Senate Office building, was abruptly told to vacate the facility on Thursday, according to one Guardsman. The group was forced to rest in a nearby parking garage without internet reception, with just one electrical outlet, and one bathroom with two stalls for 5,000 troops, the person said.
“Yesterday dozens of senators and congressmen walked down our lines taking photos, shaking our hands and thanking us for our service. Within 24 hours, they had no further use for us and banished us to the corner of a parking garage. We feel incredibly betrayed,” the Guardsman said.

Democrats should have been ready. Instead, they're focused on revenge with all that power they clawed and scratched for, and taking care of the little people is not their forte.and do it for free since the reason for their appearance was all due to Trump and his minions. What an insult to our soldiers defending our Capitol
They should have been provided quarters at the TRUMP a international Hotel a few blocks away.
The troops were there to protect against the TRUMP mobs. Least we could do is have Trump provide them with lodging
Trump created the crisis
The least he could do is house the soldiers needed to protect the city

Has there ever been a President who needed to be protected from an angry mob sent by their predecessor?
What ever happened to a peaceful transfer of power ?
The fact a bipartisan post mortem to show everyone the election was valid is blocked by Democrats simply validates it.

All National Guard troops were told to vacate the Capitol and nearby congressional buildings on Thursday, and to set up mobile command centers outside or in nearby hotels, another Guardsman confirmed. They were told to take their rest breaks during their 12-hour shifts outside and in parking garages, the person said.

Maybe you should think over your party's omeurta operations of transferring Donald Trump votes to Joe Biden by way of computer hidden agendas that get unpopular party persons elected to office in Venezuela year after year, taking a wise, fair and prosperous country out and replacing it with disordered chaos that initiates a damn dictatorship in which the malicious kingpin threatens bad things happening to political opponents and their voters in contrast to giving free gold pens and glass trinkets to party animals that go along with every foul deed and disparagement against the former excellent leader who hit one home run after another to everyday people in the nation, regardless of race, creed, sex, and clan and stood up to enemies of the state, whether they be drug lords whose products kill 300 Americans per week or intellectual property abusers who steal profits from writers, artists, musicians, poets, actors, authors, inventors, innovators after copyrights and patents were issued to that special person who changed the world with work that made men smile, and taking millions of dollars and fame from people on the other side of the world by merely computer hacking them out of what was theirs. The Guard was there protecting joe bidenThey should have been provided quarters at the TRUMP a international Hotel a few blocks away.
it was old joe’s duty to look after his troops
Has there ever been a President who needed to be protected from an angry mob sent by their predecessor?
What ever happened to a peaceful transfer of power ?

Always nice to be reminded how the autocrats truly feel about the military even when ordered to the Capitol. Instead of providing nice accommodations for the troops ordered to the nations Capitol to stand guard duty the troops are treated like homeless beggars by the autocrats. I guess spending ten million dollars for gender studies in Pakistan was more important.
