Not that I'd get a answer but I'd like to ask why gas has gone up .40 cents a gallon in a week here in my AO.....$4.80 a gallon as of this morning and from what I hear it ain't stopping for shit. Easily $5.00 by the end of the month if not sooner.....And from what I understand we are "lucky".

I saw a similar report to this yesterday on cnbc. Their factors were: Growth in global demand esp from China's reopening; Strong US demand caused by actual growth (ie the Feds rate hike ain't kicked consumers in the nuts yet); and Russia.
