Lol. You posted a youtube link from TODAY, from someone who goes by the name "Alfbrecht Hahnebüchen", and the video has a watermark of a Russian telegram account.

This is a common practice with the Russian propaganda merchants. They take old video or images and claim they are something else. That bullshit about Javelins turning up in Syria was another one.

I posted the original video without the watermark, and identified the true source and date.

Also to note- by the middle of April, The Ukrainians were surrounded and under siege in the Azovstal plant. There were a few Ukr fighters left around the port, but they were cut off from the main group in Azovstal.

The fighting was going on very close to the Azovstal plant, and any civilians would have had to pass through the Russian positions to get anywhere near the Ukrainian forces.

The Ru/DNR guys that got shot up might have been trying to setup a barricade on that street- whatever it was they were all pulling on was something heavy. They were trying to systematically reduce the area of movement the Ukrainians had to work with, and blocking intersections restricts mobility.

The Ukrainians usually post their videos within one day, but I can look at the map of territory in Mariupol at the time and ask "How did these civilians get there?"

Here is a week before and a day before the video was released. The contested area to the left of Azovstal is the port facility. That was already cut off from the steel plant by the 18th, and by the 23rd the only contested area was in the Azovstal plant itself.

Ukrainians could not have been out "hunting civilians", and civilians could not have stumbled upon the Ukrainian BTR because the Ukrainians were surrounded. Russia controlled the whole city.
