I need a hat. IANAV. I Am Not A Veteran. Sorry about that. No disrespect intended.

I got in trouble near a military base once (Camp Bonneville) but not with the law. With the wrong side of the law, in fact.
A colonel or two got a dishonorable discharge from the Army in that case from what I heard. Definitely a lot more, even worse than that, going on, and I'm not on the list to be informed of the details, either.

I can't exactly enlist as a private soldier or try to boss anyone around with that mess around my neck, and I'm not getting any help buddy-buddying with the wrong crew anything to do with anything military.

Thanks for your post. I didn't serve in the military, but I, of course, know those who DID. We need to salute these brave and patriotic individuals. THEY are a big part of the HEART of our country.

Thanks for your post. I didn't serve in the military, but I, of course, know those who DID. We need to salute these brave and patriotic individuals. THEY are a big part of the HEART of our country.

I never served either, planned on it but life has twists and turns, many of my family has and I realize the sacrifice involved.

We definitely have two children who plan to. I support them 100%

There I was. Hip deep in hand grenade pins. It was 4,000 against four. I was down to a clip of ammo and a Hershey bar. We fought them for a week straight. It came down to that last bayonet charge. But we finally got them four.
