I would have to try it before saying anything. There is a vegan restaurant in the city downtown that I love. I don't care for vegan "cheese" or cheese sauces but the food overall is pretty OK.

The best thing I've had that was vegan was a stew made by a Rastaman in Jamaica named Chisty.
If I hadn't known it was vegan I would have never even thought it was.
It was excellent!!!!

Speaking of stew, my mother made an excellent vegetable stew, I don't know what she did to it but I could eat a whole 3 qt pot by myself. Along with her hoecake/spoon bread.
