USMB Coffee Shop IV

Wednesday may be the first time in ten years that all five of my kids and all grandkids are together at the same time. A game of cricket (of course), a barbeque and see in the New Year.......BLISS...especially if I can make a few runs and bowl a few maiden overs( no runs scored off my "pitching" sorta thing). Also three other brothers and assorted nieces, nephews and hangers on.

Quiet New Years Eve every where it seems. I fired one fire cracker. I saw no fire works and just a muffled sound of fire works in the distance. I wish all a healthy and prosperous 2006. :) ☕👍

Think I might buy on of these.

Maybe this one

So we are cleaning out out the mother in laws house in prep to sell it. There is only 2 sisters and their kids to consider. The oldest could care less, she just wants the house sold for mo money mo money. Garage is stacked with tools.....several I have no idea what they are for. The wife starts oking others to take what they want and now all of a sudden they want to look thru things......Dont want to hear any whining from her cause she sat on her ass and now stuff is gone.
Wife brought all the fine crystal home and a set of real silverware.

When our mom died, big sister and I were the only heirs. Mom's Santa Fe house needed a LOT of work but was in a great location. We found a contractor who gave us a decent price for the place as is--he figured to fix it up himself and sell for a nice profit. Saved us a a lot of hassle.

But when we were cleaning the place out, one of her kids called and sis's oldest answered the phone. "Are they fighting yet" was the question. Niece says "Yes! One says YOU have to take THAT and the other says YOU have to take THAT!"

Anyhow we got it all done in one day relatively stress free.

Stress free until Hombre got called to Fort Worth on business and I had to drive the U-haul truck to Kansas amidst snow storms. That part wasn't fun.
