USMB Coffee Shop IV

No snow in Albuquerque yet. We had a bit of sleet the other day but short lived and so warm it melted pretty much on contact.

But Christmas decorations are going up all up and down our street.

For us who are getting too old to do much outdoor decorating, here's a suggestion though :)

Don't get into lining the whole house. That's for the pros. but those days are gone. Hung 2 strings of green net lights on the deck, put the new large LED wreath freeway side and finished with a 3D 18 in angel and the 3D manager in the large picture window.

That would look good. The large picture window in our house faces the back yard though and I don't let Hombre do ladders any more. So we put the lights around the garage door with MERRY CHRISTMAS and other decorations on magnetic signs and images on the door itself and twinkling battery operated lights on the front gate and that's it for outside.

Thank you for this Oddball. Noticed this historical event was pretty much ignored, even by veterans, this year. The media may have mentioned it here and there but no real tributes noted anywhere.

There are just some aspects to American History that we should never forget.

Fare thee well, our dear friend Hossfly.

He was so special. Had several private conversations with him over the years when those conversations were not appropriate to be made public. He was quick to assist anybody in need. Was rarely partisan political but had so much common sense, practicality and love to offer.

But in his last years he split his time between Fort Worth Tx and North Carolina. I was surprised to see that he will be buried in Maryland. There must be other family buried there. That would explain a Ft. Worth pastor officiating.

Definitely one of our most beloved Coffee Shoppers.

First big snow of the year, gotta be pushing 8 inches or more. Light and fluffy so the snowblower won't have any problems. Car slid into the ditch on the freeway, they've been trying to get it out last cpl of hours
