Hi Foxy! Grandma life pulled me away from the internet, and a few weeks turned into a few months, and then I realized that I no longer had a desire to spar with the opposition. It was a lot of fun once upon a time. It’s nice to see that you’re still providing a quiet haven in a noisy space.

I do understand. And yes, I much prefer the quiet places these days myself. But every now and then I still get a burr under my saddle and need to vent. Or I feel compelled to teach a bit. This is pretty much the only place I have to do that as I don't do any politics or controversial stuff on Facebook.

Yeah, like you I got tired of the same old, same old back and forth so I've mostly disappeared for quite a while. I still pop in from time to time but spend the vast majority of it here. Good to see you back.

I too am grieving the loss of somebody many of us regarded as a national treasure and one of the most influential voices of this generation whether or not we agreed with his point of view on whatever issue(s).

Prayers or positive vibes are in order for that family and all of us who feel something important was taken from us.

Bought a showroom king memory foam adjustable bed with massage. Finally got it squared away today. little tight for the nightstands But it feels mahvelous

Wow. I'm jealous. Hombre and I just exchanged our old 30+ year old mattress for a new very expensive, but not as expensive as a memory foam adjustable, mattress that has considerably improved our sleep.

Happy Labor Day everybody. This and New Years Day have become my favorite holidays because at our age there are no expectations for them. A day of no mail, pretty much no robo calls, no requirements for any kind of special meals, gifts, other pressures. Well, we have to have blackeyed peas on New Years but that's fun and not really an imposition.
