“That gets a green light. In fact, we’re talking with our Polish friends right now about what we might be able to do to backfill their needs if in fact they choose to provide these fighter jets to the Ukrainians,” Blinken said.

That's easy to say, but NATO appears to be balking at the idea of doing that. They are far more vulnerable to Russian nukes than we are here in the US. I doubt if even 10% of them would make it to their targets here, based on how Russian equipment is turning out to be total crap against the Ukrainians.

Yea okay. So when Obama and Soros funded the Euromaiden riots and the violent insurrection that overthrew the rightfully elected President of Ukraine, was that “democracy”?
When they voted to remove that president as their constitution allows for, they didn’t even have the votes to remove him. So they threw out the constitution and did it anyway. Was that “democracy”?
Then when they formed a new government, they decided that they get to have the entirety of Ukraine as it was before even though the eastern provinces voted to not be apart of it. Is that “democracy” as well?

By the time the US and NATO actually have the planes ready for pick up by the Ukrainian pilots, Ukraine will have been annexed and a new Russian puppet government will be in charge of Ukraine.
Even if the aircraft are handed over promptly, the aircraft are old Soviet-era fighter jets, which are no match against 21st century jets, other than for target practice.
I do hope that elements of Ukrainians are constructing tunnels between Poland, Hungary and Ukraine, so that they may become a significant bloody nuisance to the Russians once it's occupied.
