It has to do with the fact that it exists, has even paid out multimillion dollar bonuses and not even the Right Wing opposes that more than they do non-corporate welfare for the Poor.What does corporate welfare have to do with anything and why do you think I support it? More government spending means more money taken from working people. Even you want to raise MW just to increase tax revenue.It sounds like using capitalism for all of its capital worth to me. Capital should be doing the "heavy lifting" in a first world economy.Think about what you're saying. You're saying that the government should TAX the people already working so it can give some to the people who WON'T work so it can turn around and take some from them. Do you not hear how foolish that is?What if all the unemployed could get unemployment compensation for simply being unemployed. It could be taxable income.How would it, when almost all jobs would be eliminated and no one would be generating any tax revenue?
This is what we are supposed to be doing with the tax monies we pay for Government:
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
